Tamannaah Bhatia, the popular South Indian actress, recently made headlines after rumors started circulating that she was dating Bollywood actor Vijay Varma. However, the actress has now come forward to address the rumors, stating that she does not feel the need to clarify anything. In a recent interview, Tamannaah Bhatia was asked about the rumors of her relationship with Vijay Varma. The actress responded by saying that ‘clarifying’ the rumors is not necessary.
In an interview, Tamannaah said, “We have done a film together. Such rumors keep going around. Clarifying all of them is just not necessary. I have nothing more to say about it.” Tamannaah also noted that speculations around female actors and their relationships or marriages are much more than their male counterparts. “I don’t know why that happens, but females get married a bunch of times before we actually get married! We get married every Friday, and then hear ‘oh you are not married yet!’ People are constantly getting me married to all kinds of people- from doctors to businessmen! I feel I have already been married too many times, I don’t know what will happen when I really get married! Will people be excited anymore? People will think it is another speculation!”
She also spoke about the notion that a female actor has a ‘peak’ after which her career declines. “I never settled for what people thought I should be doing time and again, especially in a female actor’s career. People want you to settle and say ‘this is enough’, and that is often the peak of your career. It’s tragic to have a peak. The moment you touch it, the next moment you go down the peak,” she told.
Vijay Varma is also known for his work on the films Pink, Monsoon Shootout, Manto, Gully Boy, and the Ghost Stories anthology. The media and fans alike should respect their privacy and allow them to live their lives without unnecessary interference. Tamannaah’s statement is a reminder that celebrities are not public property and should be given the same level of respect and privacy as anyone else.
