Anjali Bhimani, an actress best known for her role in the superhero miniseries “Ms. Marvel,” was overcome with emotion when she stood next to Ram Charan, who plays Ram in the movie “RRR,” on stage at the recently held Hollywood Critics Association awards.
The presenter mispronounced Ram and Anjali’s names before they took the stage, but Anjali made light of it by cracking jokes. She stated: “She can call me anything if I’m standing next to him, to be perfectly honest. I don’t give a damn; as long as Ram and I are together, I’ve already won.”
Ram was overcome with emotion upon being recognized. Anjali attempted to perform some of the steps from Naatu Naatu while wearing a black dress, but she decided against it because of her attire.

Ram dressed for the occasion in a brown suede suit. Ram Charan also missed his cue on the teleprompter and made the audience giggle amid all of Anjali’s compliments.
Afterwards, Anjali posted on Twitter, saying, “At tonight’s @HCAcritics awards, I’m thrilled and humbled to share the stage with @AlwaysRamCharan. And it was obvious that I HAD to try some #NattuNattu action (just maybe should have reconsidered the dancewear). Here’s to @RRRMovie spreading the magic of Indian film throughout the world. #GlobalStarRamCharan”.
Five prizes were given to “RRR” at the HCAs. Best Stunts, Best Action Picture, Best International Feature, and Best Original Music were the top four. The special “spotlight” award went to the movie as well.
