Sad news has hit the Bollywood industry as a veteran actor, director, and producer Satish Kaushik passed away following a heart attack on 8th March 2023 at the age of 66. Kaushik was known for his versatile acting skills and his contribution to Indian cinema as a director and producer.

Anupam Kher, who worked with Satish Kaushik in several films, tweeted, “I know ‘death is the ultimate truth of this world’ But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!” Kher also shared a black and white photo where he and Kaushik are seen together.
Actress Kangana Ranaut also reacted to the news and shared, “Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director #SatishKaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.”
Satish Kaushik made his acting debut in 1984 with the film “Masoom” and went on to appear in several popular Bollywood films like “Ram Lakhan”, “Saajan Chale Sasural”, “And Deewana Mastana”. He also directed and produced several successful films, including “Tere Naam”, “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai”, and “Karz”.
