In April of last year, Kajal Aggarwal and her husband Gautam Kitchlu had their first child, a boy named Neil. She has recently spoken openly about returning to work in order to meet her professional obligations and experiencing guilt as a mother for leaving her child at home. She also remembered experiencing body shaming while pregnant.
The actress admitted that it was really challenging for her to balance parenthood and her job. She felt more of an emotional exhaustion than a physical one, proving that maternal guilt is genuine. Every morning having to leave her infant to go to work hurts her heart, but she admitted that she loves what she does and is confident that her child would grow up appreciating the value of labor.
When she discovered she was pregnant, Kajal said she had to drop out of one movie. Kajal claimed that while working hard during her pregnancy, she occasionally felt insecure since she believed that her primary role was in front of the camera. She returned to work two months after giving birth and dabbled in horseback riding, martial arts, and action sequences while wearing a harness. She continued by saying that she brought her infant with her to every session.
Speaking on how she used to hear from others that she wouldn’t be able to do all of these things after she had a child, Kajal remarked, “When I was pregnant, I was termed obese. I mean, it should be evident that I was pregnant. But that’s just the way they are, trolls. Therefore the best course of action is to disregard it.”
