Expressing his thoughts on OTT platforms, Salman stated, “I won’t let anything go against our culture on OTT… I believe that guidelines implemented on OTT have contributed to the improvement of content.”
This statement echoes his previous remarks on the need for censorship on OTT platforms. Earlier this year, Salman expressed his concerns about explicit content, stating, “I really think there should be censorship on the medium (OTT)… Vulgarity, nudity, and swearing should stop. Kids as young as 15 or 16 can watch them all. Would you like it if your young daughter watches it? I just think the content on OTT should be checked. The cleaner the content, the better it will be, and it will also have better viewership.”

Salman also highlighted the issue of actors engaging in explicit scenes, expressing the view that it is unnecessary and poses security risks. He emphasized that there should be boundaries and control, stating, “We live in India. It was way too much before, finally, it has been curbed. Now, people have started working on a lot of good and decent content.”
The upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT 2 will be streaming on Jio Cinema from June 17. The theme for this year’s show is the ‘strange house,’ and 13 contestants will enter the Bigg Boss house, designed by Omung Kumar B. and Vanita Omung Kumar.
Salman Khan’s dedication to upholding cultural integrity and his support for guidelines and censorship on OTT platforms continue to fuel discussions around the evolving landscape of digital content and responsible entertainment.
