On March 3, the actress Neetu Chandra Srivastava was asked to attend as a guest in order to represent India in the commemoration of International Women’s Day at the Indian Consulate in Dubai. The actress spoke at the occasion about making the necessary changes for women in society.
She said in remarks during the occasion, “I’m looking forward to getting to know other women who are actively working to change society from various backgrounds. Becoming the change is advised if you want to see change. I’m looking forward to meeting ladies who can empower another 10 women and make our society more cooperative. I believe it is outdated to claim that women cannot collaborate, as they are capable of producing amazing work when they do. Hence, by working together, we can significantly impact society. This event, in my opinion, will genuinely help people feel one another’s presence and promote global integration.”
Neetu explained what Women’s day meant to her “Women are the embodiment of power and strength. They contribute to the growth of the entire society. They spread their love and thoughts to everyone. It is crucial to set aside one particular day to honour these strengths, which are felt every day of the year. I’d like to use this chance to express my gratitude to all the ladies in my life who made it possible for me to be where I am now. My mum deserves all the credit for where I am now. It is Mother’s Day for me.”
On the duty of serving as a woman’s advocate on a global stage as an ambassador, she continued, “As an Indian woman, it is incumbent upon me to speak for not just myself but also the many other Indian women who have triumphed over adversity to find success and happiness. As a guest of honour who represents women on a worldwide scale, I feel a great sense of duty. I’m dedicated to advancing gender equality, business, education, and these other causes. I’ll work to empower women in India, provide a better future for the subsequent generation of Indian women, and empower women beyond.”
