Famous Indian rapper, Badshah has changed the face of rapping with some of his successful songs. Apart from his tremendous career, Badshah is also popular for his arch-rivalry with Yo Yo Honey Singh. The singer has often talked about the same and also revealed what went wrong between him and Honey Singh. And now, the singer has yet again taken a dig at Honey Singh.
Badshah and Raftaar have playfully teased Yo Yo Honey Singh :
Badshah is currently serving as one of the judges on the reality show “Hip Hop India.” In the latest episode, rapper Raftaar took the opportunity to inquire about Badshah’s recent track, “Gone Girl,” which features the notable line, ‘Kuch logon ka comeback hi nahi ho raha’ (Some people just can’t make a comeback). In a viral social media clip, Raftaar humorously prodded Badshah, asking, ‘Bata do na kiska comeback nahi ho raha’ (Tell us whose comeback isn’t happening), prompting Badshah to respond with a sly reference, likely aimed at Honey Singh.
Badshah’s response triggered hearty laughter from Raftaar and enthusiastic cheers from the entire crew. To provide some context, Badshah’s latest song, “Gone Girl,” prominently features this self-delivered rap line, raising suspicions that it may be a subtle allusion to Honey Singh, who has been absent from the industry due to his battle with bipolar disorder.
The ongoing feud between Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh :
Before embarking on his solo career, Badshah was a member of a group called Mafia Mundeer, which included fellow artists like Yo Yo Honey Singh, Raftaar, and Lil’ Golu. Their collaboration began in 2011, with their debut song “Get Up Jawani.” However, the group disbanded in 2012. During a podcast conversation with Raj Shamani, Badshah candidly discussed his rift with Honey Singh.
“We were also contributing to the creation of numerous songs, so it’s essential to consider us as well. We left everything behind and pursued our dreams here. (Honey), you shouldn’t be so self-centered. On one hand, you referred to us as brothers, but on the other, you seemed to overlook our struggles. The incident of signing blank contracts, what about those agreements? It was indeed a challenging phase,” Badshah shared.
