Subhash Kapoor, the creator of the successful Jolly LLB movie franchise, is all set to bring the third installment to life. Promising to exceed the high standards set by its predecessors, the upcoming Jolly LLB 3 will witness the dynamic pairing of Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar, the lead actors from the first two films. The latest update on this exciting project reveals that the production timeline has been officially locked in.
In February 2024, cameras will start rolling as both Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi step into their roles for Jolly LLB 3. With the screenplay already in place, Subhash Kapoor is gearing up for pre-production by the end of this year. The heart of the third movie lies in a riveting courtroom clash between good and evil, maintaining the franchise’s signature blend of humor, suspense, and thought-provoking social issues. The ingenious storyline seamlessly justifies the presence of both Jollys, rekindling their excitement for the courtroom backdrop after a six-year hiatus. Saurabh Shukla, renowned for his portrayal of Judge Tripathi in the previous films, will continue to be an integral part of this edition. The film is backed by Star Studios.
Come February, the filming of Jolly LLB 3 will kick off, spanning a two-month schedule in Madhya Pradesh. The aim is to unveil the movie in theaters by the end of 2024. Prior to this endeavor, fans can look forward to Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi teaming up for Firoz Nadiadwala’s Welcome 3. The beloved Welcome franchise is undergoing a reboot, introducing fresh faces and characters to the mix. The ensemble cast is power-packed, including Akshay, Arshad, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani. The upcoming adventure comedy, titled Welcome to the Jungle, is slated to commence production around November 2023, with a festive release planned for Christmas 2024.
Akshay Kumar’s plate is brimming with a lineup of eight films scheduled for the next two years. He’s already wrapped up four movies: Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, The Great Indian Rescue, the Soorarai Pottru remake, and the C. Shankaran Nair biopic. Presently, he’s engrossed in the shooting of Dinesh Vijan’s adrenaline-pumping aerial action thriller, Sky Force, unfolding in Sitapur. Once this venture wraps up, Akshay’s journey continues with Mudassar Aziz’s Khel Khel Mein, slated to film in London. Subsequently, his agenda includes Welcome 3 and the eagerly anticipated Jolly LLB 3.
