Sunny Deol has been enjoying the huge success of his most recent film, Gadar 2. Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma also appear in the sequel to the 2001 hit Gadar. It exceeded everyone’s expectations and became one of the most profitable films of the year. In the midst of Gadar 2’s enormous popularity, Sunny Deol released a statement about his most recent career decision.
Gadar 2 star talked about making movies in an interview. He claimed that because of the way things are currently, distribution is difficult. In addition to not receiving his desired number of cinemas, Sunny claimed that he “had a tough time with my films in this past decade.” Because of this, the Gadar 2 actor mentioned he has decided to focus solely on acting. He said, “That’s what I came in for. I became a producer, a director, wearing too many hats. A man can only do one job. So I said, ‘Throw everything away, just become an actor.’ So that’s what I want to do now. Do as many films as I can as an actor.”
Gadar: In 2001, the movie Ek Prem Katha became a huge success. Sunny remembered that even this, he didn’t receive any favourable offers in the following months. “Before that (Gadar), I had no issues. I wasn’t getting much work even when it (Gadar) was a much-appreciated film of the century,” Deol said. The actor said that the reason behind it was that the Hindi film industry was turning into Bollywood. By this, he meant that corporates took over and things changed.
Gadar 2 is being written by Shaktimaan Talwar and is being directed by Ek Prem Katha. Sunny, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur, Mir Sarwar, Rohit Choudhary, and Rakesh Bedi are among the actors who appear in it. During the Indo-Pak War of 1971, Tara Singh travels to Pakistan to try to save his kid. In spite of competition from the Akshay Kumar-starring OMG 2, the film nevertheless managed to dominate the box office. Both of these films have had outstanding success at the box office thus far.
