The famous music composer MM Keeravani received the Oscar for his outstanding work on the song “Naatu Naatu” from the film RRR. Naatu Naatu by MM Keervani and Chandrabose, the first Indian song in a Telugu production to win an Academy Award for “Best Original Song” at the 95th Academy Awards, is a moment to remember for India.
Benny Dayal has sung the song ‘Sholay’ in the Tamil and Hindi versions of ‘RRR’. The singer was quite thrilled about India’s big win on the global platform. He said NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT NOW THAN THIS MOMENT!!! ‘Naatu Naatu’ became the frontrunner for the Oscars when it won the Golden Globe Award in the same category. Composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose went up on stage to accept the to accept Best Original Song trophy as the crowd cheered for them. Keeravani said, “Thank you Academy. I grew up listening to The Carpenters, and now here I am with the Oscars.” He then sang the following few lines, “There was only one wish on my mind, so was Rajamouli’s and my families. RRR has to win, the pride of every Indian, and must put me on the top of the world.”
