Rajkumar Hirani takes the directorial helm for the much-anticipated film, Dunki, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu in prominent roles.
During the success celebration of his latest release, Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan officially revealed the release date for Dunki. According to reports from the news agency ANI, Dunki is set to grace the silver screens either around Christmas or New Year’s. Despite the buzz surrounding his other projects, such as Pathaan, there were concerns that Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani might face delays.
Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude during a video shared by ANI on X (formerly known as Twitter). He remarked, “God has been very kind to us with Pathaan. Even kinder with Jawan, as I always say. We commenced our journey on January 26, Republic Day, which is indeed an auspicious day. We released Jawan on Janmashtami, Lord Krishna’s birthday.”
“Now, with New Year and Christmas just around the corner, we plan to unveil Dunki. I promote national integration. No matter when my film hits the theaters, it’s like Eid. I’m putting in my utmost effort, more than I have in the past 29 years. I’ll continue working hard because nothing makes me happier than seeing people enjoy our films,” he added.
