Raj Anandkat
Raj Anadkat, who plays Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is the most recent performer to leave the programme. The actor recently revealed that he has left the sitcom in a post on Instagram on Tuesday, despite rumours about his departure being in the news (December 6). Raj talked about how his relationship with the sitcom and the production company came to an end in his piece. He expressed his gratitude to everyone once more and wished the team luck going forward. Bhavya Gandhi, who initially portrayed the role of Tapu for 9 years, was replaced by Raj.
Shailesh Lodha
Not only Raj Anadkat, but Shailesh Lodha also left the show earlier this year due to creative disagreements. Shailesh Lodha was dissatisfied with his contract and eager to grab fresh opportunities that he had been missing out on due to TMKOC. The actor consequently made the decision to part ways, and Sachin Shroff took his position on the show a few months ago.
Disha Vakani
Disha Vakani, a seasoned actress, has been a part of the show since its beginning and played the wife of Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) in it. She grew up working on the TMKOC sets with Bhavya Gandhi, Samay Shah, and Kush. Later, in 2012, Nidhi Bhanushali filled her shoes to take on the role of Sonu.
Bhavya Gandhi
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Tapu, played by Bhavya, left the programme after more than eight years of production. Bhavya practically grew up on the show because we first met him as a little child. Tapu was an infamous Kid in the early seasons of the programme, and Bhavya did a great job in the part. By the end of the first season of the show, Bhavya was among the most adored celebrities ever, and Tapu had become a household name.
