Rumors had been swirling about the potential launch of the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, the digital spin-off of the immensely popular Indian reality show. However, an exclusive source has revealed that there are no plans for Bigg Boss OTT 3 this year.
The decision reportedly stems from a consensus between Colors TV and Jio Cinema, who feel that the audience may be experiencing saturation with the show. With Bigg Boss 17 recently concluding in January, and the digital version poised to start shortly after, concerns about overexposure have led to the shelving of Bigg Boss OTT 3.
While discussions are ongoing, there has been no official confirmation regarding the fate of the show.
Bigg Boss OTT 2, hosted by Salman Khan, saw contestants like Pooja Bhatt, Jiya Shankar, Manisha Rani, Elvish Yadav, and Abhishek Malhan gain significant fame. For the rumored third season, names like Sheezan Khan, Arhaan Behll, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe, Dalljiet Kaur, Maxtern, Sriram Chandra, and Dhanashree Verma were speculated to participate.
