Nushrratt Bharuccha, the popular Bollywood actress, has made a safe return to India after being stranded in Israel due to ongoing conflict. The Haifa International Film Festival attendee arrived at Mumbai airport amidst media attention but chose to remain silent about her experiences in the war-torn country.
Nushrratt’s publicist confirmed the challenges they faced in reuniting with the actress, stating, “We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt, and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight, so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared, but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank God that she is safe and on her way to India.”

The ordeal began after Nushrratt attended the Haifa International Film Festival, which took place from September 28 to October 7. During her stay in Israel, the country was hit by a surprise attack from Hamas militants, resulting in a state of conflict. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared “war” and pledged to extract an “unprecedented price” from the attackers.
Upon her arrival at the airport, Nushrratt appeared tired and without makeup, donning a pink co-ord set and carrying a sling bag around her waist. Despite the media’s eagerness to learn more about her time in Israel, she chose not to engage with reporters.
Nushrratt Bharuccha is renowned for her roles in films like “Love Sex Aur Dhokha,” “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,” and “Chhorii,” among others. Her recent work includes “Akelli,” a thriller drama in which she portrayed an ordinary Indian woman trapped in a combat zone in Iraq. She is also set to star in “Chhorii 2,” exciting her fans with her upcoming projects.
