On Sunday, actors Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon, along with fashion designer Manish Malhotra, embarked on a spiritual journey to Varanasi. Their destination was the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where they offered prayers before gracing the ramp for Malhotra’s fashion show.
Dressed in traditional attire, Ranveer and Kriti exuded elegance as they visited the Dashashwamedh Ghat for their devotional moment. Kriti donned a charming yellow kurta-pyjama ensemble, while Ranveer opted for a pristine white kurta. Meanwhile, Manish Malhotra showcased a blend of pink and white attire. Amidst the serene atmosphere, Ranveer also took time to engage with fans, spreading waves of cheer along the ghat.
Reflecting on his experience, Ranveer shared, “Today’s experience is beyond words. I’ve been a lifelong devotee of Lord Shiva, and visiting here for the first time holds immense significance for me. I aspire to return with my mother in the future.” Echoing his sentiments, Kriti expressed her gratitude, “A decade ago, I visited Varanasi for a shoot but couldn’t explore. This time, visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple feels truly blessed. The city resonates with an unparalleled energy and vibrancy.”

Later that evening, Manish Malhotra’s fashion extravaganza unfolded at Namo Ghat, as part of a two-day event by the Indian Minorities Foundation. Celebrating the handlooms and handicrafts of Varanasi, Ranveer and Kriti graced the ramp as showstoppers for a collection titled “Banarasi Saree – a Tapestry of Indian Culture and Craftsmanship.” Ranveer dazzled in a metallic and dark-hued sherwani, while Kriti epitomized elegance in a bridal red lehenga.
Looking ahead, Ranveer is set to reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama “Singham Again,” featuring Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone. Additionally, he is lined up for Farhan Akhtar’s “Don 3.” Meanwhile, Kriti, last seen in “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” and the heist film “Crew,” alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, gears up for her upcoming project “Do Patti.”
In Varanasi’s sacred aura, amidst prayers and fashion fervor, Ranveer, Kriti, and Manish Malhotra painted a picturesque blend of spirituality and style.
