The Indian music industry has always been a source of entertainment and inspiration for people worldwide. One of the most renowned names in the industry is Sonu Nigam, a versatile singer who has won many hearts with his soulful voice. Unfortunately, he recently became a victim of violence and intimidation when he was manhandled by a Shiv Sena member at a musical event in Chembur.
On Monday, at a music event in the Chembur, Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and his team were physically attacked by a Shiv Sena member. After the singer’s performance at the event, a local MLA who is considered to be a member of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena party misbehaved with Soun Nigam’s manager. They went on stage because MLA’s son, wanted to take a photo with Sonu Nigam. The man then told Sonu’s manager to leave the stage, and when Sonu was exiting, he ended up pushing Sonu down the backstage stairs.
Sonu’s bodyguard acted as a barrier between the assailant and the singer. The man pushed the bodyguard, who then caused the man to fall down the stairs and onto the ground below. The aggressive man then made an attempt to grab Sonu. Once more, singer Rabbani Khan, Sonu’s friend, tried to stop the attacker from trying to save Sonu. At that point, the attacker pushed Rabbani, who fell seven feet off the stairs and onto the lower level of the stairs. Fortunately, Sonu wasn’t injured, but the two men who tried to save him may have.
Sonu had taken Rabbani Khan and his bodyguard to the hospital. To find out if they had fractures, the two men were taken an X-Ray. Sonu Nigam spoke with the media and revealed that he has filed a complaint against the attacker.
The music industry, like any other industry, should be free from political interference and intimidation. We must work towards creating a more inclusive and tolerant society that values diversity and respects different viewpoints. Only then can we truly appreciate the beauty and power of music and art.
