Salman Khan, renowned for his acting prowess and philanthropy, recently reunited with 9-year-old Jaganbir, who triumphed over cancer after undergoing nine rounds of chemotherapy. Their initial encounter occurred in 2018 when Jaganbir, a 4-year-old undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Tata Memorial Center for a brain tumor, caught Salman’s attention. Making a heartfelt commitment to Jaganbir during his cancer battle, Salman fulfilled his promise by meeting the young survivor in December 2023.

Jaganbir’s journey began at the age of 3 when he experienced eyesight loss due to a coin-sized tumor in his brain. Doctors recommended treatment in major cities like Delhi or Mumbai. Choosing Mumbai for treatment, Jaganbir, optimistically believed he was going to meet Salman Khan. A video capturing the child expressing his desire to meet Salman reached the actor, prompting him to visit Jaganbir at the hospital. Salman’s presence was confirmed when Jaganbir verified it by touching the actor’s face and bracelet.
In a recent interview, Sukhbir Kaur, Jaganbir’s mother, shared that her son is now in good health, having regained 99 percent of his eyesight. Jaganbir is actively attending school.
Turning to Salman Khan’s professional life, he was last seen in the highly successful film Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. Currently, Salman is occupied with hosting the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss 17, scheduled to conclude on January 28, 2024.
