As Sunny Kaushal is the son of renowned action filmmaker Sham Kaushal, it is only reasonable to assume that he will be skilled in action and eager to try his hand at action movies and stunts. Sunny’s admission that he is in love with action supports that perspective.
In an Exclusive interview, Sunny discusses it and claims, “I love action, but it’s not in my blood. I had the good fortune to collaborate with Dad on Kabir Khan’s online series The Forgotten Army- Azaadi Ke Liye. It was a fully action-packed program with intricate war scenes. Dad believes that when you’ve reached that level of rage, you should hit the other person. How much does it upset you that you can pick up a pistol or strike someone with your hands? Actions devoid of feelings are meaningless. Being able to physically express so much emotion while acting is something I love to do as an actor. And it was during “Forgotten Army” that I understood how much I adore feelings that need complete commitment on my part. I thus hope to work on several action movies and
web series.
Sunny said that he rarely remembers attending his father’s performance when he was a child. But once he made the decision to work in the field, he used to go and watch movies being made.
Action in movies has been choreographed for years by Sham Kaushal. He has contributed to films like Ponniyin Selvan, Bajirao Mastani, and even the Dhoom series in recent years. With Yami Gautam as his co-star in his most recent movie, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Sunny is now receiving a lot of praise.
