Kangana Ranaut recently expressed her joy as she welcomed her new nephew, Akshwathama Ranaut, and shared the baby’s first photos on Instagram. The family celebrated the arrival of the newborn, and Kangana shared this exciting news with her fans and followers.
In a heartfelt note written in Hindi, Kangana revealed that they had chosen the name Akshwathama Ranaut, which holds a special significance. In Hindu mythology, Ashwatthama was a legendary character from the Mahabharata, who fought on the side of the Kauravas during the Kurukshetra war and was blessed with immortality by Lord Shiva. The name is a beautiful combination of her brother Aksht’s name and Ashwatthama.
Kangana shared a series of pictures in her first post, featuring herself, her mother, and her sister Rangoli Chandel, spending precious moments with the newborn at the hospital. Kangana looked radiant in a pink saree as she cradled the baby, and her mother also held the infant close. The photos captured the family’s emotions during this special time.
She captioned the post with immense joy, “Today, on this blessed day, our family has been blessed with a child. My brother @aksht_ranaut and his wife @ritu_ranaut002 are blessed with a son, whom we have named Akshwathama Ranaut (Ashwatthama Ranaut). He is a stunning and attractive boy. We extend our heartfelt blessings and share our infinite happiness with all of you. Thank you for your support. The Ranaut family is elated.”

All my love and blessings for this glorious chapter in your and @aksht_ranaut’s life. Your joyful family paints a beautiful picture that fills my heart in a way that words cannot describe. Love and blessings always. Didi.” (accompanied by a black heart emoji).
As for Kangana’s professional ventures, she is set to appear in Sarvesh Mewara’s “Tejas,” scheduled to release in theaters on October 27. Additionally, she will take on the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film “Emergency.” Kangana’s personal and professional life is thriving, and she is clearly overjoyed to welcome the newest member to her family.
