However, confusion arose as some mistakenly associated him with filmmaker Sajid Khan. The director swiftly clarified the mix-up, confirming his well-being.
In a recent Instagram video, Sajid Khan addressed the misunderstanding, highlighting that the child actor Sajid Khan, who played young Sunil Dutt in ‘Mother India,’ was born in 1951, whereas he was born 20 years later. He expressed condolences for the actor’s passing and criticized irresponsible media use of his photo alongside the news.

Addressing concerns, he reassured everyone about his own health and safety, despite receiving inquiries about his well-being.
On the other hand, the late actor Sajid Khan’s son disclosed that his father had been battling cancer for some time before passing away on a Friday.
He shed light on his father’s upbringing, mentioning his adoption by Rajkumar Pitamber Rana and Sunita Pitamber and being fostered by filmmaker Mehboob Khan. He noted that his father had been less active in films, dedicating more time to philanthropy. Additionally, he shared details about his father’s affection for Kerala, where he remarried and settled down.
