Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, and Zee Studios collaborated on the Marathi movie “Aatmapamphlet,” The movie, which was helmed by newcomer Ashish Bende, recently had its world premiere at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival.
The movie was chosen for the Generation 14+ competition. Paresh Mokashi, who is known for writing and directing movies like Harishchandrachi Factory (2009) and the most recent “Vaalvi,” is the author of Aatmapamphlet (2023). The main character of the movie is a young boy who develops feelings for a classmate. It is a sweet story of unrequited love that will transport viewers back in time while also highlighting the huge sociopolitical changes in the world around him. Master Om Bendkhale, Pranjali Shrikant Bhimrao Munde, and Ketaki Saraf play major parts in the movie.
Aatmapamphlet’s world premiere at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival was attended by Zee Studios dignitaries Ashima Avasthi, Bhumika Tewari, Neeraj Joshi, Mangesh Kulkarni, and Jatin Talwar in addition to the film’s writer, Paresh Mokashi, director, Master Om Bendkhale, director of photography Satyajeet Jadhav, and producers Aanand L Rai, Shariq The opening night and all following performances are completely sold out!
